In the beginning of 2014 Gregory and Emily met during a callback for Tony n Tina’s Wedding in Times Square. They were soon cast opposite one another as Dominick and Donna, the wild and passionate groomsman and bridesmaid who inevitably fight as often as they inescapably kiss. Although the revival only lasted a few months, the experience and exposure of performing on 44th Street between 7th and 8th Avenue in the heart of New York City proved invaluable.

Soon after the show closed, Greg and Emily were promoted to the title roles of Tony and Tina for both national and international tours, which they have been doing continuously for approximately eight years now.

So why is this here, as G&E Productions do not present or produce this show in any way? Good question. Here’s why: when touring the show outside of the tri-state area only 3-4 core cast members are generally flown out and the rest of the show is cast locally. Now, there are traditionally around 3 rehearsals before we go up. You heard that right: three rehearsals for a 3-hour play with actors who have never done the show before.

How is this possible you may ask? Answer: a ridiculous amount of hard work. Although there is always a director present, that director relies on the veterans of the show to act as assistant directors and also teach choreography.  We become a tight knit group working together to usher in the new members of “the family” and no matter how tight our time schedule might be, we always deliver and are proud of our work.  This hands-on experience of working under pressure has helped us tremendously when putting together projects of our own. This is the caliber and dedication you are getting if you so choose to work with G&E Production
